14 months!

At 14 months old the biggest news is that I've got words! Now I've always been a great communicator (yelling, grunting, etc.) but I can say lots of stuff now (at least my parents can understand). My favorite word is "Puffs" and I often ask for them when I'm in the kitchen. I even spotted them in the grocery store the other day and had to have them! In addition to "Mama" and "Dada" I can also say "dog", "ball", "balloon", and "Nana". I try to say "Jonah" but I mostly call him "Bubu" for now.
My favorite toys are balls, dogs and cars. I love to go outside even when it's really cold. When dad leaves for work I cry now...not because I'm going to miss him...just because I want to go outside too! Sorry dad but you know it's true!

Slide...

It's official, I am a wild man on the slide! I love that thing but it often gets barricaded into the closet because mom's afraid someone is going to get hurt. She may be right but I just can't help myself! In my defense I have learned how to get up there and actually sit down instead of just walking/falling down it (most of the time anyway). Another thing about this slide is that it gets Jonah and I pretty riled up. At the end of my video below you can see me fall...that means nap time is coming soon because I'm getting clumsy. Mom calls me a clumsicle and now when she tells me it's time to take a night night, I run from her! I usually head to the front door because I love to be outside but for an old lady she's pretty fast and she always catches me and puts me to bed. Lucky for her I'm such a good napper and even after all that excitement I always go right to sleep. I'm down to only 2 naps and they are both long ones! I burn lots of energy playing so I need my rest to refuel for the next round!

Science Museum

I got to go to the Science Museum with Jonah the other day and boy did I love it! I ran around everywhere. My favorite was the blood vessel I could crawl through and the tongue slide. I couldn't get enough of it and I have no fear when it comes to slides!

SNOW!

My first snow was great! I saw Daddy and Jonah getting all bundled up so I ran to the door and grabbed my shoes too! Mom put a few more layers on me and we got to go outside! I loved running around and even falling was fun! I thought it was hilarious when Jonah started throwing snow at me but then my little cheeks started to get red so we headed inside. Everyone had hot chocolate except me...mom tried mixing mine with milk, yuck!

Eatin' like a big boy!

Until now I haven't really shown an interest in feeding myself...at least with a utensil anyway. And lately Jonah has been the one feeding me...correlation? Probably. Well, here I am trying out my big boy skills! While we're on the subject of food, I'll let you in on a little secret. I'm not a big fan of trying new things. I eat everything but it's a battle to get new foods in my mouth sometimes. If I don't recognize it, I surely don't want to eat it! In fact I usually toss it onto the floor. I also throw my head every which way to try and get away from it but mom usually manages to slip it in anyway (when I'm screaming) and what do you know, I like it!

Clean-up Crew!

I don't know what mom's talking about when she says she misses her cleaning lady in Hong Kong...she's got two cleaning boys right here!

Bath Time!

I love getting nakey and marching to the tub at bath time! I even like getting in the tub. But after a few minutes I'm ready to get out. I mostly stand up but occasionally will sit down and splash with Jonah.
