16 months

Go Zags! Dad and I might be the only Gonzaga fans in this neck of the woods...and what a coincidence that they play the Tarheels on my month-day! I won't be able to watch because it comes on so late but you can bet my daddy will be up! I had to wear my bulldog clothes for this photo shoot!
I'm quite the chatter box these days. I try to say everything my parents say and I'm picking up lots of words...mostly revolving around food like cheese, banana, bagel, cracker (which I call da-da)...that gets a little confusing until I start screaming it, then they understand...who wants Dad when I can have a tasty cracker?! I can also say phone, shoes, buba ba (bubble bath), other side (don't ask), outside, keys, and the list goes on! I'm also learning some body parts. I can point to my ears, hair, tongue, nose, feet and belly. Not always on command, just whenever I feel like humoring mom!
I love to wrestle Jonah and often tackle him for no reason. I'm a strong boy, I just throw my weight on him and down he goes! Going outside is my favorite thing to do and since the weather is warmer we can go out more often. Whenever we are coming home from somewhere I try to stay out as long as possible, running from mom, refusing to come to the door, you know...all the stalling tactics. This usually ends with mom carrying me inside struggling and screaming to get free. A guy's gotta try!
Whenever anyone figures out what I am talking about or asking for I like to giggle. It's my way of saying, "yes!"...finally!
Rumor has it that mom is trying to *gasp* wean me! She thinks that if I can ask for it, I may be too old! Whatever.
I also love to point out cars and trucks which I call "vroom vroom" and "chu". It's pretty exciting seeing so many. Jonah likes to correct me because I think most of the vehicles are trucks but he likes to be more specific by telling me they are actually vans, garbage trucks, etc. He thinks he knows everything!
*In this picture dad was trying to get me to smile by jumping up and down so I stood up and jumped on the chair. It was a keeper!
