Status Update...

Well, I double checked with my doctor and I am 27 inches long. Mom also pointed out to the doctor that I have one leg that is a little...well, fat. You see I have one huge crease in my right leg but I don't have one on my left. Well, to be on the safe side he wanted to x-ray it so we did and everything is A-OK! Silly doctors.
In other news, I got a new office. I like it a lot but after a few minutes my head gets a bit tired and I start leaning over. I still love tummy time and I love, love, love my big brother! I watch him wherever he goes. Sometimes he startles me because he is so loud but I am getting used to that. I am starting to give mom lots of kisses too. I especially like to chomp her chin! But not dad, he is way too prickly! As for my sleeping...dad is ready to make me sleep through the night! But I'm not quite ready for that. I think I would miss mom way too much! The problem is that I only nurse for a couple minutes so mom doesn't think that I get full. Even during the day the longest I eat is 3 minutes. What can I say, I've got a little belly!

4 months!

I'm 4 months old already! Mom asked me to wait until my check-up to make this post because she wanted to see how much I weigh now. Well, the numbers are in and I'm 17 pounds, 9 ounces. As for length and head circumference, my nurse forgot to leave the paper with that info so I will have mom call and find out tomorrow. But my doctor did say I am in the 95th percentile for weight and length and the 50th percentile for head circumference. I did a lot better at this appointment, I even smiled and talked to my doctor. I've figured out that he's okay...it's the nurse that I don't care for. First she makes me take off all my clothes (and I'm not even getting a bath), then she puts lots of shots in my legs that really hurt. Don't worry, I made sure I screamed real loud all the way out the door.
Not much else is new with me. I am getting close to rolling from my back to my tummy but haven't made it all the way yet. I love to play under my playmat and bat at all the toys and I love to be carried facing out so I can see the world. My favorite thing to do is watch my big brother. In the mornings (I'm usually catching a few more zzz's in mom and dad's bed) he comes in and cuddles me and talks to me. He always makes me smile! And taking a bath is still my favorite thing to do in the whole world. Here I am brushing my own hair...or trying to eat the brush if you want to get technical.

My 1st Easter

My first Easter was loads of fun! We went to Georgia to visit my great Aunt and Uncle (Rob and Con) but for some reason didn't manage to get any pictures with them... But I did pose in my Easter outfit and I got to play with my Nana a lot. I love to try and stand up on her lap, it makes me smile real big!



















Thank you G'Ma, G'Pa, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Scotty Bumps for all the Easter goodies! Jonah has claimed all of the toys for now but when I get bigger I'm sure I'll get them back!

Steamroller!

Well, not quite a steamroller yet, but I've got a good start! Today I couldn't stay on my tummy, I kept rolling over. I'm not sure how I did it, but it sure was fun!

Giggles and Grins!

I am really showing off my personality lately. I am either really happy or really mad. Mom says I am the perfect second child. I eat really fast (like 2 minutes fast) and I can fall asleep fast too. (Although I need it to be really quiet and sometimes that's a bit tough for Jonah.) I even let mom put me in my bed to sleep. She said Jonah took an hour to eat and she had to hold him for naps, what a baby! I am really strong too. I can support my head quite well and I love to be on my tummy. I am also discovering my voice and occasionally I even get the giggles! Mom tickles me and they just come right out! Check out my video!
