Spring Flowers!

The weather has been so nice lately and the flowers are beautiful! We humor mom by letting her and dad take a few pictures, but Jonah and I are more interested in running!

Hot Air Balloon!

We got to ride in a hot air balloon! Our friends invited us over to their school to watch a hot air ballooon but we didn't expect to go up in it! We were so surprised when they asked if we wanted to ride! It was really noisy inside but so much fun to be up in the air!

Garden time!

Last Saturday dad came home to a big plowed garden! He didn't believe that Mama had tilled it herself but was happily surprised when we told him our neighbor did it. So during the week Jonah and I helped Daddy start planting. So far we've started peas and rasberries. I did a pretty good job of throwing my seeds into the holes that Daddy and Jonah dug, then I covered them with dirt. I can't wait to start eating all the yummy goodness!

Spring break!

I had so much fun on spring break! Daddy got a whole week off! We went to Tennessee and played at parks, went swimming, went on walks, played at the beach and walked around nakey in Daddy's shoes. Now this is what I call a vacation!

Dr. Bill

I had my first dentist appointment last week and to mom's utter shock and amazement it went really well! You see, I'm a bit unpredictable when it comes to new people, especially those who want to look in my mouth. But I was a trooper and mom was so proud! Jonah and I had our appointments at the same time. He didn't need mom's help but I wanted her close...just since it was my first time and all. First the dental hygenist asked me what my favorite foods were. Mom cringed a bit and expected me to say, "cake, ice cream, chocolate" (the good stuff)! But I told her I liked bananas, grapes and yogurt! I'm a smart boy! And mom's cringe suddenly turned into a little burst of pride. Then I climbed onto the table by myself and let her count all my teeth. After I was done I asked her for a lollipop! I get a big confused with all of these doctors. My pediatrician gives me stickers, the dentist gives out balloons but it's mom's baby doctor who gives out lollipops. Whoops! Then Dr. Bill came in and checked out my teeth too. I was a little shy but he was real nice and it didn't take long for him to count all my teeth. I have 16! 4 more should be coming anytime now so watch out! I did get a blue balloon and a new toothbrush with some cool flossers when we were all done. Unfortunately at home the balloon went to be with the clouds. I was a wee bit sad so dad got me another one on his way home from work. Unfortunately again, that one popped when I was dragging it around the house. Easy come easy go!

Easter day!

Easter day was jam packed with fun stuff! First Easter baskets full of goodies awaited us on the front porch. I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate and kept asking for "one more" "one more"! After that we went to church which I'm still not a huge fan of but I managed. Then we went to the Biltmore House, but by then I was one tired, cranky boy! Mom and dad tried to cheer me up with an ice cream cone and I have to admit it was quite yummy! We got to take short naps in the car and spent the rest of the day at Nana and Pop's house! They hid eggs for us to find and we had a feast for dinner! I love going there, they have the best treats! And Pop always fixes the plastic eggs that break apart for me! Happy Easter!

Easter Egg Hunt!

I had lots of fun on this Easter egg hunt! My love affair with the Easter bunny has faded somewhat from last year but I still managed a few hugs!

Spring time!

Now I understand why Jonah has been so excited for Spring to get here! Spring time means playing outside! Today mom took us to the Biltmore Lake park and I loved every minute of it...except the part when it was time to go home... My favorite thing to do was throw seashells into the water! Mom and I were a great team finding the shells. I also enjoyed the swings and slides and scaring mom half to death by climbing up ladders by myself! And I think I've perfected the "cheesy" grin, what do you think?
